# ALPHA50.9.22 — balanced Chat Mandala region colors

## Scope
Refine the deterministic Chat Mandala region allocator so the chat profile continues to define the color character without allowing one dominant color to occupy most of the visible artwork.

## Behavior
- Keep the existing 10-color master palette and the existing character/n-gram profile model.
- Use the seven strongest profile-derived colors as the active regional palette.
- Compress profile weights so secondary colors remain visually represented even when the chat profile is highly skewed.
- Allocate colors independently per logical unit while respecting the template's existing region reveal order.
- Reduce immediate color repetition between consecutive revealed regions.
- Limit large regions to the strongest profile colors, allow more colors for medium regions, and allow the full active palette for small decorative regions.
- Keep all assignments deterministic from the game/profile state.
- Mapping version: `chat-profile-v7-balanced-region-allocated`.

## What is intentionally unchanged
- SVG geometry and region maps.
- Chat profiling signals, including hashed 2- and 3-character n-grams.
- Energy and structure progress formulas.
- Renderer, lifecycle, PNG transport and localization behavior.
- Privacy contract: no raw message text is stored or logged.

## Acceptance
- A strongly skewed profile still uses at least seven regional colors on a fully populated template.
- The dominant regional color remains below 50% of total colorable area in the regression scenario.
- Repeated calls with equal inputs remain deterministic.
- Different n-gram profiles continue to produce different regional mappings.
